The membership comes in the same week that Adoreboard launched Customer Revenue Impact, the measure at the heart of our CX predictive intelligence platform, and follows the selection of our research by NVIDIA for presentation at GTC 2026 in San Jose earlier this year.
Software NI describes itself as “The Voice of NI Software”.
It is a non-profit organisation established in 2022 as the representative body for software engineering companies in Northern Ireland, and it now has over 150 members. Its stated purpose is to lobby for and support the strategy and policy that will make Northern Ireland a world-leading region for software businesses, with the aim of doubling the size of the local industry to 50,000 jobs by 2035.
Its membership spans home-grown companies and global names with a base in Northern Ireland, including Kainos, Liberty IT, Allstate NI, Version 1, Instil, Civica, Citi, Rapid7, Cloudsmith and, as of last week, Amazon Web Services. Its work ranges from sector events such as the Sales and Scale conference to the #SoftwareForAll apprenticeship programme.
Why we joined
Adoreboard is a spin-out of Queen’s University Belfast. Our AI was researched, built and trained here, and it is now used by global brands to quantify customer trust and show what their customer experience is worth in revenue. We think that is a story worth telling about Northern Ireland, and Software NI is the organisation set up to tell it. We also want to play our part in the sector’s growth, from skills and apprenticeships to the next generation of Belfast-born software companies.
Neil Hutcheson, CEO of Software NI, said:
“It’s fantastic to have another Belfast born company Adoreboard join Software NI. A core part of our mission is to help home grown members to grow here and around the globe. Adoreboard already partners with recognised brands, and is exactly the type of the high potential company we want to see accelerate on their own mission.”
Thank you to Neil and the Software NI team for the welcome. We look forward to getting involved.
