Adoreboard’s guide to the X4 Qualtrics events 2025! X4 takes place March 18-20 in Salt Lake City (plus other cities throughout the year) and is always the epicentre of experience management innovation, bringing together leaders from all over the world who are reshaping how organisations connect with their most important stakeholders.
Having attended X4 all over the world, our 3 pieces of advice for attendees are;
- Have a high level plan— connect in advance on the X4 app.
- Go with the flow— take the opportunity to connect in the moment.
- Be inspired— give yourself permission to learn and enjoy.
At Adoreboard, many of our customers are also Qualtrics customers. We’ll plan in advance and reach out, meeting many clients old and new in-person once per year. We love it! 🥰 However, some of the most significant moments can’t be planned, like a Backstreet Boys singalong that results in a business deal and the makings of a lifelong friend!
.
So…plan in advance but be ready to go with the flow.

Top tips for X4 Summit
These tips apply to most conferences and summits, but moreso for large, multi-day events like the Qualtrics X4 event in Salt Lake City.
1. Plan in advance
What is your primary objective? Who is it you “must” meet? If they are speaking, where and when? Draft pre-summit outreach eg Linkedin, email. Familiarise yourself with the lay of the land and ensure you have downloaded essential materials. Map the agenda; know where you want to be and when— remember X4 SLC is a big event; allow at least 10mins between to get anywhere (sometimes longer!).
2. Take photos of sessions & keep notes
One top tip is to take photos at keynotes. Often slides aren’t shared. You’ll think you’ll remember, but you won’t! Trust me— there’s so much going on that you’ll forget “that stat” or “that tip” or “that speaker”.
3. Remember who you meet
Connecting on Linkedin or sending a short reminder message whilst you are with someone is often the easiest way of keeping track of who you meet. Yes, there are other apps, but almost everyone you’ll meet is on Linkedin. If you use whatsapp or something else, consider taking a photo with the person— helps remember who they are, when and where you met them! You can connect with Chris, our CEO, here.
4. Consider your clothing & accessories
A must is to wear something comfortable, especially on the feet! Layers are good too and a small, adaptable backpack— chance’s are you could be out late into the night (singing with strangers to Backstreet Boys!). If networking is your objective, try to wear something people will remember you by. Oh, and don’t forget to stay hydrated #yesmommy!
5. Prepare to be energised… and exhausted
Three days seems like a long time, but it flies in. You’ll feel buzzy, energised and exhausted. Sometimes all at once! Share in real time with co-workers (is there a remote team member who can help you?). Debrief and take notes as you can and allow for a couple of days off after, especially if you’ve a long journey (Adoreboard travel from Belfast, Northern Ireland— we make our debrief notes in the airport lounge).
Beyond that, remember to follow the hashtags on Linkedin and keep an eye on the app for any changes to the schedule or surprise appearances. You’ll have a blast and be sure to reach out and say hello if you’re going.👋
